The Grand Knockout Tournament (colloquially also known as It's a Royal Knockout) was a one-off charity event which was shown on British television on 19 June 1987. It followed the format of It's a Knockout, a slapstick TV gameshow which was broadcast in the UK until 1982. The event was staged on the lakeside lawn of the Alton Towers stately home-cum-theme park.

A Lambert Hillyer silent romantic love triangle boxing sports lumberjack logging melodrama about a world champion boxer who must retire due to an arm injury. He becomes a lumberjack, and becomes involved with the daughter of the owner, but rivals sabotage their operation, and the boxer has to return to the ring to save the owner from bankruptcy and win the hand of the daughter.

A little deaf girl who plays against an arrogant boy in a chess tournament is unaffected by his scorn but responds warmly to the attentions of a young poet. Based on article 23 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, this film illustrates disabled children's right to enjoy a full and decent life. A film without words.

A compilation film taken from fight-clips of the International Boxing Club. The film has sports-announcer Bill Corum prefacing and narrating clips from top boxing bouts of the past. Featured is the upset by "Jersey Joe" Walcott over heavyweight champion Ezzard Charles, and "Sugar Ray" Robinson winning over "Rocky" Grazianno. Also shown are fights between "Rocky" Marciano and Rex Layne; Joe Louis and Lee Savold; and Marciano meeting Harry Matthews.
